This is a simple, but important tip. If your homepage is a page you never use, changing it to something useful can save you time. If still use Internet Explorer, your homepage is likely MSN's website. Other browsers too have their own start page, but this does not mean that you have to stick with them. You can change it to whatever page you want.

Use the middle mouse button
For those of you who are using a mouse that has a scroll button in the middle of the other two buttons, you need not waste your time when you feel like opening a link in a new tab. Just hold the middle button on the link you intend to open, and viola, it will open in another tab. Also, scroll wheel is quite useful when doing any kind of reading in a browser window.

Pin Tabs
Unfortunately, this is a trick that can only be accessed by people who are using chrome and Firefox. With these two browsers, you can have you favorite pages displayed throughout the day by simply right clicking on the tab then choosing the “Pin Tab Option”.

You can also Zoom Text
If you have difficulties reading the text displayed on your browser, you can enlarge the content to your liking. To zoom text and images, simply press CTRL and the plus key. To reverse, use ctrl and the minus key together. To reset it back to normal, press CTRL and the zero key. Alternatively, you can hold down the CTRL key and use the scroll button on your mouse.

Bookmark Often Used Sites
If there are sites you use often, you can bookmark them in your browser. This has a few benefits. First, it allows you to get to your most used sites faster. Second, it adds some security. A mistyped web address could take you to a dangerous website by accident.
